It’s a good time to stop and think about the ways in which we can all look out for each other and make sure the workplace is a healthy and safe environment. If you see something unsafe, say something.

Verdict: Fact

Reason: Just over one in six serious claims are for back disorders resulting from manual handling.

3 ways to minimise common workplace injuries

    2. Organise a presentation or practical workshop by the workplace health and safety officer on safe working methods and procedures for your workplace.

    3. Provide ergonomic assessments for your workers and look into trialling sit to stand workstations.
